Little Ethan's getting Bigger

Well, here I am blogging again. Ethan will be two months on Thursday, and I finally am starting to not feel so overwhelmed. I was very unprepared for the adjustment to three children. I had no idea it was going to be this hard, but I was also diagnosed with postpartum depression, so I know that didn't help, at all! I am feeling better now, thankfully, and there is no way I would have made it this far with out the support of my loving husband, and amazing friends.
Ethan is such a sweet baby, and his big brother and sister are constantly bombarding him with hugs and kisses. He tolerates it pretty well, but sometimes gets overstimulated and I have to intervene. Quinn's adjusting pretty well to another sibling, I think it's because he's done this before, but little Ava is kinda reverting back a little. She is constantly wanting me to rock her and stealing Ethan's pacifiers so she can use them, and making us call her the baby. Thankfully she loves Ethan and isn't taking it out on him, just on us.

Ethan has his two month check up next week, and I'm pretty sure he's gained at least four pounds since he was born. He's growing well, and loves to eat. He has red hair, he gets it from his dad, Quinn kinda had it too when he was born, but then it quickly turned more blond. We will see what happens with little E.

Ava turns 3

Ava trying to figure out the new hand sign for her age.

After some trial and error she found this method to work easier for her.

Ava turned three years old yesterday and celebrated the much anticipated Ariel birthday party Ava's been wanting to have for at least the past 6 months. We celebrated at our house with her friends from church and in our apartment complex. The pictures will speak for themselves of the different activities we did, but we all had a great time.

Despite how much Ava loves Ariel, she had no reservations about whacking her for something she loves more. CANDY!!!!

Ava was the closest at getting the flowers to the top of Ariel's head and no she was not able to peek.

Adjusting to three children now Christina didn't have it in her to make a cake this year and opted for cupcakes.

Ava getting more hopped up on sugar.

Ava received a large variety of Ariel gifts from a Bath time castle w/ slide to a swimsuit, towel, night light, bubble blower, magnet set, and I'm sure many more items that escaped my mind right now.

Our little Princess.

We ended the party with the kids jumping in the bounce house to burn off the sugar rush they were experiencing.
