Little Ethan's getting Bigger

Well, here I am blogging again. Ethan will be two months on Thursday, and I finally am starting to not feel so overwhelmed. I was very unprepared for the adjustment to three children. I had no idea it was going to be this hard, but I was also diagnosed with postpartum depression, so I know that didn't help, at all! I am feeling better now, thankfully, and there is no way I would have made it this far with out the support of my loving husband, and amazing friends.
Ethan is such a sweet baby, and his big brother and sister are constantly bombarding him with hugs and kisses. He tolerates it pretty well, but sometimes gets overstimulated and I have to intervene. Quinn's adjusting pretty well to another sibling, I think it's because he's done this before, but little Ava is kinda reverting back a little. She is constantly wanting me to rock her and stealing Ethan's pacifiers so she can use them, and making us call her the baby. Thankfully she loves Ethan and isn't taking it out on him, just on us.

Ethan has his two month check up next week, and I'm pretty sure he's gained at least four pounds since he was born. He's growing well, and loves to eat. He has red hair, he gets it from his dad, Quinn kinda had it too when he was born, but then it quickly turned more blond. We will see what happens with little E.

Oh, I am so glad to hear things are looking up. Having a new baby puts you on such an emotional roller coaster as it is, so it must have been a rough couple of months. Love you lots :).

I'm glad to hear that you're doing better. I can only imagine what Postpartum depression is like since I don't have children. But, I know depression is hard enough to deal with. I'm glad you have a good support system. I hope you continue to get better. Ethan is really cute! :)

Glad to hear things are going better. Those first few months are so unpredictable. It's nice when things settle down a little. He is so sweet!

he's so little even though he's getting bigger! PPD is no fun; i'm so glad you're feeling better but be sure to lean on your million friends if things turn south again!
